Odell Beckham Jr. cries after injury, which team says is fractured ankle
Odell Beckham Jr. was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of the New York Giants‘ Week 5 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 24-year-old Beckham was visibly shaken, crying as he appeared to potentially realize the severity of his injury.
After the game, the Giants announced Beckham has a fractured ankle.

Although a report said Beckham would need surgery, Art Stapleton of The Record in New Jersey said no determination has been made on surgery.
Beckham’s leg was caught under Chargers cornerback Casey Hayward as he came down from attempting to make a catch. Ironically, OBJ and Hayward forged a friendship during last year’s Pro Bowl. For the game, the polarizing wide receiver finished with five catches and 97 yards, along with an electric 48-yard touchdown.
Don’t forget either, Beckham missed the first game of the season after injuring his ankle during a preseason game. He has been under fire for his touchdown celebration antics during a Week 3 loss to the Eagles in which he pretended to urinate on the field.
Meanwhile, the winless Giants suffered injuries to nearly their entire receiving corps in the 27-22 loss to the Chargers. Receivers Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard and Dwayne Harris all left the game with injuries. But the biggest injury was clearly to Beckham, and it looked like a bad one.
