North Florida Christain head football coach Brent Hill stepping down, takes role in Tennessee
Brent Hill is stepping down as head coach of North Florida Christian football.
Leading NFC for the last three years, Hill is moving closer to his family and taking a job at Chattanooga Notre Dame High School in Tennessee.
In a statement released to the media, Hill said his time in Tallahassee will stick with him forever.
"As a family, we have loved our time in Tallahassee and especially at NFC," Hill said. "The past three years have been lifelong memories and will always be special to our family."
Hill leaves NFC with a 26-10 record, finishing the 2023 season with a 9-4 record and a state semifinal appearance, falling to eventual 1S state champion Cardinal Mooney. Hill led the Eagles to two regional finals, including winning it in his last season.
Establishing NFC as one of the Big Bend's premier offensive programs, Hill will now take his high flying football to Tennessee.
Hill's full statement reads:
"As a family, we have loved our time in Tallahassee and especially at NFC. The past three years have been lifelong memories and will always be special to our family. I would like to personally thank the Administration, Coach Posey, faculty, students, parents, and coaches at NFC for those memories. Most importantly, I want to thank each young man that put on that uniform and played the great game of football! You will always be family to us.
However, I have decided to take an opportunity to accept a position that will bless our family to live closer to our loved ones. We are returning to our roots in the Chattanooga area, taking the job at the Chattanooga Notre Dame School."
Hill will remain with NFC until March 1, and the Eagles are currently searching for the program's next head coach.
