The big 10 championship race is just as wild as that Ohio State Penn State game that we just saw three overturned calls in the first half alone.

Two of them either at the goal line or in the end zone overall fits.

Ohio State takes this 120 to 13.

I thought both teams showed up.

I thought both teams playmakers, whether it's Tyler Warren on Penn State side or Quins Sean Judkins and Von Henderson on the Ohio State side both made massive plays and showed up Ohio State just did it better.

Both run games got going Ohio State just did it more.

And that ultimately was the difference in this game.

Yeah, if I was on the college football playoff committee to be clear, these both look like college football playoff teams.

To me, that is absolutely clear.

But the other part of this is one team's offensive line surprised me.

I know Penn State still eight, but Ohio State's offensive line handled it much better than any of us expected.

That's the difference in this game, not only in the ability to get some of those plays, but also to run the football which I didn't think would happen.

And, you know, realistically somebody had to lose this football game.

I know there's no comfort to Penn State fans in hearing this.

But we always talk about, well, if these teams played 10 times, what would happen, I think they'd each get about five of them.

We saw two equally matched championship caliber teams playing championship caliber defense, one team was able to make a couple of more and that was the real difference and it has to be frustrating for Penn State fans to hear that it was such an equally matched game that this did feel like a gettable Ohio State team and a Penn State team that doesn't get Ohio State very often and would have put them on the fast track to get to the big 10 championship game.

The fact of the matter is, I still think that Penn State is a big 10 contender is a college football playoff contender.

Ohio State just has that head to head advantage.
