Coaching stability is something every team craves, but few can attain in the ever-changing world of professional football.

However, some franchises have managed to navigate the many obstacles and maintain a constant leadership presence on the sideline. And generally those have been the ones to show the most sustained success.

With six-time Super Bowl-winning coach Bill Belichick parting ways with the New England Patriots after 24 seasons, there's a new leader at the top of the list of longest-tenured NFL head coaches.
