NFL finds Bengals committed no violations in Joe Burrow injury reporting

The NFL has cleared the Cincinnati Bengals of any wrongdoing after investigating the circumstances on the injury report before his season-ending wrist injury during the Week 11 game against Baltimore.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news on Saturday, writing that the Bengals were in “full compliance” of the injury report policy.

The routine investigation stemmed from Cincinnati’s social media team seemingly deleting pregame footage of Burrow wearing a device on the throwing wrist he later injured.

Burrow was adamant that it was merely a compression sleeve worn during a flight, which isn’t abnormal and the Bengals complied with the investigation by submitting hours of footage.

The end result here isn’t a surprise, considering what onlookers saw during open practices, during warmups before the game and when the injury itself occurred.
