NFL playoffs: Giants upset Vikings thanks to Daniel Jones' big day
Daniel Jones accounted for 379 total yards and the New York Giants got a critical fourth-down stop late to upset the Minnesota Vikings 31-24 on Sunday during NFL wild-card weekend.
Minnesota's defense struggled to contain Jones and Saquon Barkley, who had two touchdown runs, including the game-winning score in the fourth quarter.
Jones finished 24-of-35 for 301 yards and two touchdowns passing, and added 78 yards on 17 carries on the ground. Kirk Coustins finished 31-of-39 for 273 yards and two touchdowns for the Vikings, who earned the NFC's No. 3 seed but are out of the postseason after one game.
