Nebraska names Tanner Lee ‘top’ QB entering summer

Lee, a redshirt junior transfer from Tulane, beat out redshirt freshman Patrick O’Brien.

Lee completed 13 of 19 passes for 190 yards in this past Saturday’s spring game. He made 19 starts across two seasons with the Green Wave, and he was granted an extra year of eligibility, meaning he could have two seasons atop the Huskers’ depth chart if all goes well for him.
O’Brien went 11 of 17 for 134 yards and a touchdown Saturday.
