Kevin Durant is available to play in Monday’s Game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers, the team announced. Mike Brown, who is filling in for Steve Kerr as head coach says that Durant will start. Durant had missed the previous two games with a strained calf.

Brown says that he will not have any minute restrictions.

Durant injured his leg during Game 1 against the Blazers. He scored 36 points and snatched 11 rebounds that game.

Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts learned that Durant was available at pregame media availability.

“(Having Durant) makes them a better team,” Stotts said. “They’re better with him. He’s a challenge: MVP leading scorer, versatile. (He) may be their best defender so yeah. There’s that.”

Durant had participated in practice on Monday morning, but was still listed as questionable for the game. He also did pregame warm ups on Saturday before Game 3.
