Nets' Jalen Wilson named 2024 NBA Summer League MVP

Nets forward Jalen Wilson has officially been named the Most Valuable Player for the 2024 NBA Summer League.

Wilson was absolutely spectacular across the five exhibition games down in Las Vegas, quickly making a name for himself and potentially earning a spot in Brooklyn's rotation.

One of his most dominant showings came on Friday night against the Magic when he recorded a 33 point and 10 rebound double-double and knocked down the game-sealing shot in overtime.

Overall, the second-year guard finished with 21.8 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting an efficient 47 percent from the field and 55 percent from three-point land.

Wilson's breakout Summer League certainly comes at a nice time for the Nets who are set to embark on a grueling rebuild after moving on from star forward Mikal Bridges this offseason.

The 23-year-old had a bit of a quiet rookie campaign, but he was a star during his time at Kansas, and could see big minutes if he's able to carry this over to the regular season.
