Superstars LeBron James and Victor Wembanyama will battle for the first time this season when the Los Angeles Lakers visit the San Antonio Spurs on Friday in an NBA Cup Western Conference Group B game. It will be the first of four group-stage games for both Los Angeles and San Antonio.
LeBron James has more basketball behind him than he does in front of him. The Los Angeles Lakers star addressed his NBA future after he dropped a triple-double for the third straight game on Wednesday night against the Memphis Grizzlies. James made history Wednesday when he broke his own record and became the oldest player (39) in NBA history to record three straight triple-doubles. There is no denying the success James has had over the course of his 22-year career including four NBA titles, four MVP awards, 20 All-Star Game selections and is the league's all-time leading scorer.
