NBA Twitter reacts to the Warriors’ win over the Pistons, 113-109
Coming off a brutal loss on a buzzer-beating shot from Nikola Jokic, the second-leg of a back-to-back couldn’t come at a better time for the Golden State Warriors.
Following their loss to the defending champions on Friday, the Warriors quickly got back in the win column on Saturday with a much-needed victory over the Detroit Pistons, 113-109.
Steph Curry led the Warriors again with 26 points on 7-of-19 shooting from the field to go along with six rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes. Three members of Golden State’s bench unit tallied double-figures against the Pistons.
Dario Saric notched 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor with three rebounds and an assist in 22 minutes off the bench. Both rookies Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski each tallied 11 points off the bench.
