NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors victory over Raptors for eighth straight road win
After struggling throughout last season, specifically on the road, the Golden State Warriors are thriving on the road in the 2023-24 season. After starting their road trip with a pair of wins, the Warriors notched another victory on Friday against the Toronto Raptors for their eighth straight win on the road.
After scoring a game-high 31 points on Thursday night against the Knicks, Steph Curry picked up right where he left off on the second leg of a back-to-back against the Raptors on Friday. Curry tallied a game-high 25 points with seven made 3-pointers to go along with six rebounds and six assists in 30 minutes.
During the Warriors 120-105 win over the Raptors, Jonathan Kuminga continued his breakout campaign, scoring 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting from the field with six boards and two assists in 27 minutes.
Following the Warriors’ eighth straight win away from Chase Center, the NBA community on Twitter weighed in with reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Friday night.

Warriors drag into Toronto early Friday morning, snooze thru most of Q1, fire up in Q3 and find their way to a 120-105 victory. Move to 9th place, 1 pct point over the Lakers. Five over .500 for the first time this season.

Best I’ve felt about the warriors on court chemistry & connection over a pretty large sample since winning it all in 2022. Obviously gotta continue to play well to even get into playoffs but you gotta love these last few weeks of ball. Kuminga ascending rapidly. MIP 2023/2024 🏆

"We could have found every excuse in the book to come out and lay down tonight, but we got a lot of guys that's not built like that." – @CP3 pic.twitter.com/v5wJGMW5X0

Props to CP3, he’s actually been respecting the dubs’ pace and even playing off the catch somewhat consistently since coming back.
Safe to say the current minute volume fits both him & the team better too.

The Warriors are 1.5 games out of 8th, 2.0 games out of 7th and 3.0 games out of 5th in the West.

The Warriors are playing their best stretch of hoops in two seasons.
Again, I don't think they should fear any team in the West.

Klay Thompson said he slept from about 8 am to 3 pm. "That's good enough. That's good enough. You want eight, but sometimes you got to do whatever's necessary."
NBA players, they're just like us.
