NBA Finals: Stephen Curry's 43-point classic had his fellow players buzzing
With his team facing a 3-1 NBA Finals deficit and seemingly everyone around him (save for Andrew Wiggins) struggling, Stephen Curry submitted his masterpiece.
The future Hall of Famer dropped 43 points on 14-of-26 shooting (7-of-14 from deep) with 10 rebounds and four assists in a 107-97 Warriors win, evening the series at 2-2. It was the third-most points he has scored in a game in his career.
That included a backbreaker in the fourth quarter to put the Warriors up six points with less than two minutes left:

Here is the new list of NBA players who have posted 40 points, 10 rebounds and seven 3-pointers in a Finals game:
1. Stephen Curry
Pretty good for a player who entered the game with injury concerns after a rough collision in Game 3.
Despite already possessing three rings, two MVPs, the all-time NBA 3-point record and plenty more accolades on his resume, this Finals has still become something of a referendum on Curry's legacy as an all-time great player. Judging from the reaction of his NBA peers watching at home, he is well on his way to quieting his last few doubters:
Chef is INSANE!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
