Nashville Predators continue push for playoffs with 4-2 win at Winnipeg Jets
The Nashville Predators face the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday with a chance to grow the lead in the West wild card race.
Nashville is in a solid spot with 16 games remaining in the regular season, not quite in a tight battle for either the division or a wild card spot. The Predators have a seven-point cushion for a wild card spot and are nine points behind the top-3 in the Central Division. Nashville also has a lighter schedule this week, with two games between March 11 and March 18.
One player who will want to stay in a rhythm is Filip Forsberg, who has seven goals and six assists in the last nine games. He is nine goals and 16 points away from his career highs, and that'll be something to watch through the final month of the regular season.
