Nashville Predators 5, Vegas Golden Knights 4: Roman Josi extends streak to 18 games

The Nashville Predators extended their point streak to 18 games on Tuesday with 5-4 win over the Vegas Golden Knights. .

The Predators were down 4-1 in the third period, but Gustav Nyquist tied the game with a power play late extend the streak. In the overtime period, Roman Josi gave the Predators a 5-4 win.

Ivan Barbashev started the scoring for Vegas, putting home a pass from Jack Eichel early in the first period. A few minutes later, Brett Howden capitalized on a Nashville turnover to make it a 2-0 game.

Later in the period, Shea Theodore scored on a wrist shot from the blue line to make it 3-0.

Mark Jankowski got Nashville on the board with 5:27 left in the second period, but Vegas answered back on a goal by William Karlsson with 57 seconds left in the period.

The comeback began when Ryan O'Reilly got the Predators' within two goals at the 14:08 mark of the third period. Filip Forsberg scored to get the Predators within one, then Gustav Nyquist scored to tie the game.
