Nashville Predators center Cody Glass back on injured reserved again
There was the thrill of victory for the Nashville Predators on Monday, when they scored two goals 16 seconds apart in the final 37 seconds of the game to top the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 in Ryan Johansen's return to Bridgestone Arena.
Then there was the agony of the feat: Center Cody Glass, in just his fourth game back from injury, left the game late during the third period after a collision. On Tuesday the team announced Glass again had been placed on injured reserve, this time with an upper-body injury.
He is week-to-week.
Glass recorded his first point of the season Monday, an assist on one of Filip Forsberg's goals. He missed nearly a month after playing the first five games.
Forsberg and Yakov Trenin teamed up to score the final two goals of the game, making the Predators just the 11th team since 1943-44 to score the tying and go-ahead goals during the final minute of a game.
