NASCAR Speed Freaks: Meh for Logano, Keselowski; shouldn't Chase Elliott be faster?
Any panic level for Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski?
KEN'S CALL: On a 1-to-10 scale, I'd say a 1 for Joey, since we're talking about two plate-race woes before a ninth at Vegas. A 5 for Kez for basically the same reason, though with opposite rationale. The plate races should be his best chances, and he crashed out of both Daytona and Atlanta.
RYAN'S RAMBLE: I'd say a 0 for Joey, as in not at all. He'll be fine. I think Brad will too, but I'll give him a 3 because his car just never showed much pace Sunday. This is fun, now do Chase Elliott!
VEGAS RUNDOWN Who won NASCAR's latest race? NASCAR finishing order from Las Vegas
A whopping 8% into the NASCAR season. See any mild surprises so far?
KEN'S CALL: Chase Elliott has finished all three races and sits a cool seventh in points, but he's finished 14th, 15th and 12th. I thought he'd come off the hauler digging and clawing after a lost 2023.
RYAN'S RAMBLE: Some good speed out of the Spire cars thus far without a lot to show for it. And despite a big points penalty, how about two top-10 finishes for Noah Gragson, including an impressive sixth Sunday? NASCAR needs Gragson to be fast; I'll die on the hill that he is a superstar in waiting if he can start winning races.
