Is there a NASCAR race today? A NASCAR schedule this weekend with TV broadcasts
Finally, all the short-track griping and moaning can be put away. At least for a while.
No, NASCAR hasn't yet announced any kind of package or rule changes on that front, but all three major series will shift their focuses to the 1½-mile quad-oval that awaits at Texas Motor Speedway.
The Craftsman Truck Series, Xfinity Series and Cup Series are set for a weekend tripleheader, starting with practices and qualifying sessions on Friday. The truck race is set to go at 8:30 Friday night with the Xfinity event on Saturday afternoon, all leading up to the Cup Series AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 on Sunday.
Last week, William Byron won his third event already this year and he and Denny Hamlin have swept the last four races. Byron won the last race at Texas in September.

10:35 a.m.: Cup Series practice, FS1
11:20: Cup Series qualifying, FS1
1:30 p.m.: Xfinity Series, Andy's Frozen Custard 300, FS1
Sunday, April 14
3:30 p.m.: Cup Series, AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400, FS1
