Auburn football head coach Hugh Freeze 2024 salary is out.
Freeze is making $6,725,000 during the 2024 season from Auburn, according to the USA Today Sports college football head coach salaries database. He is making $3,100 in extra pay. His total compensation is $6,728,100. That pay puts Freeze as the 25th highest paid head coach in college football.
Freeze signed a deal through January 2029 when he and Auburn agreed to a deal in November of 2022. That seven-year deal pays Freeze a base salary of $6.5 million per year. He also earns a $225,000 retention bonus each year on Feb. 1.
Freeze was paid $300,000 in bonuses during the 2023-24 season, the exact bonuses are unknown but the Tigers did make the Music City Bowl.
Heading into the Missouri game, Auburn is 2-4 on the season and winless in SEC play at 0-3. Through his first season and a half on the Plains, Freeze is 8-11, with an 3-8 record in SEC play.
