Mizzou football lands four-star safety Trajen Greco to Class of 2024

The good news in Missouri is back after a brief break.

Trajen Greco, a four-star safety in the Class of 2024, announced Saturday afternoon that he has committed to Mizzou football. He announced the news while participating in the 2024 All-American Bowl, choosing the Tigers over Georgia Tech and USC.

Greco is the No. 24-ranked safety in his class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is the 21st player to commit to Eli Drinkwitz’s next class.

The news comes less than a day after MU learned that defensive coordinator Blake Baker was hired at LSU to the same role.

But in a period of tremendous momentum for MU that has included a Cotton Bowl win and a slew of top-ranked transfers, the concerning news proved only to be a brief intermission.

Greco, a Hoschton, Georgia, native, is the third DB to commit to the Tigers’ Class of 2024. Missouri is set to lose starting safety JC Carlies to the NFL Draft.

Rivals now rates MU’s Class of 2024 at No. 22 in the nation.
