Mississippi State football schedule 2024: SEC announces kickoff times, windows for eight games
Mississippi State football got some more clarity regarding its 2024 schedule on Tuesday. The SEC announced TV windows for the full slate of games.
As has already been announced, MSU will open its season at home against Eastern Kentucky on Aug. 31 (5 p.m., ESPN+/SEC Network+). The Bulldogs will then play at Arizona State on Sept. 7 (9:30 p.m., ESPN) and against Toledo on Sept. 14 (6:30 p.m., ESPN2 or ESPNU).
Mississippi State opens conference play at home against Florida on Sept. 21 (11 a.m., ABC or ESPN). On Sept. 28, MSU plays at Texas in the afternoon window (2:30 to 3:30 p.m. start).
After an open date, Mississippi State plays at Georgia on Oct. 12 with the game set to be flexed. The same applies for MSU's home game against Texas A&M on Oct. 19.
Mississippi State hosts Arkansas on Oct. 26 in the early window (11 a.m. to noon start).
A home contest against UMass is slated for Nov. 2 (3:15 p.m., SEC Network). That's followed by a game at Tennessee on Nov. 9 which will be in the night window (5 to 7 p.m. start). Mississippi State is back in the afternoon window for a home game against Missouri on Nov. 23.
The Bulldogs wrap up the regular season at Ole Miss on Nov. 29 (2:30 p.m., ABC). The Egg Bowl is on Black Friday as opposed to its usual Thanksgiving night slot.
