Mina Kimes: Geno Smith is not the problem for the Seahawks
Football is an exceedingly complex game. With so many moving parts and factors, sometimes it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly why teams win and lose as they do. That said, if your take on why the Seattle Seahawks are clinging to .500 despite a talented roster is that they need to upgrade at quarterback, you’re probably just a bit off the mark.
Over his last three starts Geno Smith has performed at an exceptional level – especially considering the near-constant pressure his offensive line has allowed against him. During that stretch the Seahawks have gone 1-2, but if you’re blaming Smith for those two losses then you’re missing the forest for the trees. Watch Seattle superfan and ESPN analyst Mina Kimes explain why Geno is not the issue.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but Geno Smith is *not* the problem in Seattle.
