Michigan football beats USC with 32 passing yards: College football reacts
Sherrone Moore picked up what may be the first signature win of his first year as the Michigan football coach.
Following a blowout loss to Texas in Week 2 of the college football season at home, the Wolverines pulled off a late 27-24 comeback victory over No. 12 USC. Kalel Mullings scored a 1-yard touchdown with 37 seconds remaining to help No. 17 Michigan pick up the win and advance to 3-1.
Michigan defensive back Aamir Hall tackled receiver Ja'Kobi Lane a yard shy of a potential first down to extend the game on a fourth-and-9 to end the final USC possession. Quarterback Alex Orji took a knee to bleed the rest of the clock for the victory.

The Wolverines picked up the victory despite Orji completing just 7 of 12 passes for 32 yards. He finished with 13 rushes for 43 yards, while Mullings finished with 17 rushes for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Orji was named the starter over Warren Davis earlier in the week.
According to ESPN's Max Olson, Michigan is the third team to throw for 40 yards or fewer and defeat an AP Top 25 opponent in the last three seasons.

Michigan not being able to throw, like at all, USC knowing it and sucking so bad at tackling that it might not matter is certainly a thing.
