Miami Dolphins predictions vs. Buffalo Bulls on 'Thursday Night Football'

Short week – but what a short week for the Miami Dolphins.

There was the good – rallying for a 20-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. And the bad – Tyreek Hill being stopped and handcuffed by Miami-Dade Police on his way to Hard Rock Stadium.

Expect some signs at the home stadium Thursday night when the Dolphins host the Buffalo Bills. That's a prediction that we are pretty sure will happen.

Here are predictions on the game that may, or may not, happen:

Joe Schad - Dolphins 24, Bills 23

It feels like this is the moment it changes. This is the moment Western New York domination ends. Tua Tagovailoa can gain secrets from his locker mate, former Bills safety Jordan Poyer. And the loss of Dolphins-killer Stefon Diggs burns the Bills. Buffalo misses a chance to win it. Wide right.

Hal Habib - Dolphins 29, Bills 18

The more I look at the Bills, the more I think of them as a team in transition. Jordan Poyer in aqua and orange only confirms it. The Tyreek incident becomes a rallying moment for Miami.

Tom D'Angelo - Bills 24, Dolphins 17

Both teams overcame two-touchdown deficits Sunday; Buffalo then hanging on against Arizona, the Dolphins being gifted a win by Jacksonville. Buffalo has Miami's number, and the Dolphins have had an emotional few days dealing with a much more serious situation reacting to Miami-Dade Police's textbook example on how not to handle a traffic stop when it detained Tyreek Hill. Josh Allen out-performs Tua Tagovailoa.

Nick Pugliese - Dolphins 35, Bills 31

Let's give the folks watching at home and at the stadium a real shootout for an early lead in the AFC East. The Dolphins are due to beat the Bills and Josh Allen. Tyreek will score and give us another end-zone performance sans the handcuffs. Former Buffalo safety Jordan Poyer gets an interception off his former teammate.
