Highlights:

  • On why Jaylen Waddle and Braxton Berrios haven't practiced this week: "Minor stuff. We had a collection of minor things going on. Good news is, they aren't major things."

    • On Tua Tagovailoa: Coaches "will collect all the data" and see how it fits needs of the player. "We'll do that tomorrow as a staff." Jokes he'll be ready to reveal Friday's plans at Thursday's news conference. Only problem: There is no Thursday news conference. Finally, McDaniel suggests Tagovailoa will not play vs. the Falcons.

    • Says he was pleased with the effort in joint practice No. 1 vs. Atlanta.

    • Says QBs Mike White and Skylar Thompson are running "neck and neck" and it's far too early for coaches to know who will be the backup to Tagovailoa.

    • On Liam Eichenberg being listed at RG on first depth chart: Praises Eichenberg's improvement.

Dolphins make moves, adding ex-Miami Hurricanes WR Mike Harley Jr.

The Dolphins signed WR Mike Harley Jr., 26, who attended Fort Lauderdale-St. Thomas Aquinas High and the University of Miami. He was not drafted but had been with the Cleveland Browns.

Offensive lineman Chasen Hines was released.
