Highlights:

  • Isaiah Wynn, Cam Goode and Bradley Chubb will start season on PUP.

  • Odell Beckham Jr. is TBA as far as roster status.

  • McDaniel says "I would imagine" GM Chris Grier and his staff are looking for a QB3.

  • McDaniel says they are open-minded in terms of what they're looking for in QB3 (veteran, developmental player).

  • Says he looks at it as a "69-man roster" rather than a 53 because of the importance of depth. "In football there is a 100 percent injury rate. Every player, at some point in time, gets hurt."

  • On center Aaron Brewer, his injury and whether he'll be available for Week 1: McDaniel won't speculate. Repeats he doesn't want to push players to rush back.

  • Says this team, more than his previous two, is better equipped to handle any adversity that comes its way at the end of the season.
