Miami Dolphins fans will not be happy looking ahead to 2024 after seeing these Super Bowl odds
They have not even wiped down the Vince Lombardi Trophy and already we are getting odds for what will happen in the NFL in 2024. Bottom line: Dolphins fans will not be happy.
According to BetOnline, Miami is tied with the Dallas Cowboys at 18 to 1 odds of winning Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans a year from now. Seven teams are ahead of the Dolphins, including top pick Kansas City, which is 5 to 1 for becoming the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls. The Green Bay Packers won three straight NFL championships in the 1960s, but only the last two were capped by a win in the Super Bowl.
Also ahead of the Dolphins, who fell to the Chiefs in the Wild Card playoff round, were the 49ers, Lions, Ravens, Bills, Bengals and Packers. Florida's other NFL teams do not fare much better in these much-too-early odds: the Jacksonville Jaguars are 33 to 1 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 50-1 to win the next Super Bowl.
Obviously, a lot will change between mid-February 2024 and the start of the next NFL season in September - including free agency, the NFL Draft, possible trades and players rehabbing from injuries and facing setbacks. The roster Dolphins fans saw last season will change as will those other teams.

But there is little doubt that the national prognosticators are not high on Miami entering Mike McDaniel's third season as head coach. Then again, they could be the Carolina Panthers, who are 150 to 1 to be raising the Lombardi Trophy in New Orleans next year.
