  • McDaniel says "it was a tough decision" to part with Jack Driscoll. Adds, "I feel very confident where we're at from the offensive line's position." Points to how Dolphins blocked Falcons' defensive line compared to joint workouts a year ago.

  • LB Anthony Walker Jr. is working his way back. "I can't wait for him to play. He's a very high-spirited guy."

  • C Aaron Brewer, asked if he has tried snapping, says gripping is part of his return.

  • Asked about DT Calais Campbell, McDaniel points out there was a time, more than a few years ago, they were both playing high school football in Colorado. McDaniel says Campbell "is an absolute freak to play that position as such a high level for that long." Adds, "I think he was in college when the iPod came out."

  • Asked about the seating arrangement in the locker room (players got shuffled big time over last year), McDaniel points out players spend "a ton of time" with their teammates. Goal was to "connect players" who for various reasons "it would be interesting if they connected." Adds that if two players get in a fight in camp, there's a good chance they'll be paired the next year.
