Masters betting: Prop bets to take a look at ahead of the 2022 tournament

The countdown to the Masters is on.

The tournament is set to begin Thursday and could have Tiger Woods in the field as he potentially makes his first start since his 2021 car crash. Woods has been a popular subject for bettors as his odds to make the cut if he plays have tumbled with bettors flocking to the 15-time Masters champion.

There are a lot of other things to bet on this weekend in addition to Woods. And we’re here to walk you through some of those options.

BetMGM has a ton of specials for the 2022 Masters; you can bet on any golfer to make or miss the cut, and you can also bet on a player to have a bogey-free round. The favorites to go 18 holes without a bogey are Cam Smith, Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas at +300.

Do you think there will be a hole-in-one? If you lean yes, you can get that at -160 odds. If you think no, you’ll cash out at +130 at the end of the tournament.

Round 4 is the favorite for a hole-in-one to happen. It’s +125 for an ace on Sunday as pin placements will reward aggressive golfers who land their tee shots in the right spots on Augusta National’s undulating greens. It’s +800 for an ace in Round 1, +1000 for an ace in Round 2 and +1200 in Round 3.

Hole 16 — the one with the inviting pin position at the bottom of the slope on Sunday — is the favorite hole to have an ace. Hole 16 is -110 to see a hole-in-one over the course of the four rounds. Hole 4 is at +2800, Hole 6 is at +1400 and Hole 12 is at +1200.

If you think an American player will win the tournament, you can get anyone from the U.S. to win at -125. A winner from the final group on Sunday is at -250, and if you think the winner will come from outside the final group you can get those odds at +190. Just five of the last 45 Masters winners have gone wire-to-wire and been at the top of the leaderboard at the end of all four rounds. That’s why a wire-to-wire winner is +1200.
