Marquette's Tyler Kolek delivered an assist that you have to see to believe
The Marquette men's basketball team found itself needing to rally against St. John's on Saturday at Fiserv Forum, and — what a shock — Tyler Kolek was right in the middle of the surge. But even by Kolek's standards, a pass he threw to tie the game was pretty eye-popping.
Kolek drew three defenders on penetration into the lane, jumped toward the hoop and wrapped a pass around all three to teammate Stevie Mitchell in the lane, and he laid it in to tie the game at 62 with 12:09 to go.
Maybe just watch it for yourself.

Kolek, flirting with a triple double by registering 20 points and 10 assists with 9 minutes still to play, went on to hit a go-ahead jumper with 5:58 left on the clock.
He finished with 27 points and a season-high 13 assists, with seven rebounds for good measure, as Marquette pulled away for an 86-75 victory. He hit 5 of his 8 shots from 3-point range and finished 11-of-17 overall.

That Kolek-to-Mitchell dime reminded me of the lay Larry and DJ made to win a playoff game against the Pistons. Larry made the steal and the pass, but DJ knew to go to the hoop, and Larry knew that he knew.#mubb
