At March for Life rally, Jim Harbaugh addresses NFL coaching rumors: 'One day at a time'
With his future with Michigan football in limbo, coach Jim Harbaugh is staying busy after bringing the Wolverines a national championship.
Harbaugh made an appearance at a March for Life rally in Washington on Friday, saying the cold is "great football weather" before speaking to YouTube commentator Jon Root about his NFL coaching candidacy and pro-life beliefs.

"I just take the counsel from God and the Holy Spirit, and Mr. Jack Harbaugh, my dad, and my wife Sarah," Jim Harbaugh said amid speculation about him returning to the NFL or re-upping his Michigan contract. "Just taking the advice, just living one day at a time, one day at a time, one game at a time, one play at a time."
Is Jim Harbaugh leaving Michigan for the NFL?
Harbaugh participated in virtual interviews with two NFL teams, the Los Angeles Chargers and Atlanta Falcons, for their coaching vacancies (in-person interviews can begin next week). Harbaugh is also negotiating a contract extension at Michigan after bringing U-M its first national title since 1997.

At the rally Friday, Harbaugh spoke about heading to Baltimore to watch his brother, John Harbaugh, coach the Ravens against the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.
"He's going to do great," Harbaugh told Root. "The whole family will be there supporting my brother, and I think great things are going to happen."
What is Jim Harbaugh's religion?
It's not surprising Harbaugh, a Roman Catholic, attended the annual March for Life rally, which marches in opposition of the practice and legality of abortion. Harbaugh has advocated in the past for having the "courage to let the unborn be born," and he reiterated that stance Friday.
"Just have the courage to let the unborn be born," Harbaugh said. "The testimony of so many here, including yourself, just so thankful and grateful for that. This is a great day for a march, it's a great day for the sanctity of life, and it's football weather, so let's go!"
