AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Week 6 of the high school football season has arrived, and for many schools, this is the last week before district begins. View scores and highlights from around the Texas Panhandle and beyond below. 'The Wrap Up' Game of the Week - PRESTON It's been 55 years since Hereford and Seminole played, back in 1969. Now, in 2024, they both came into their meeting as unbeatens. The Indians jumped out to an early lead, but the Whitefaces stayed close until late in the second quarter. From there, Seminole took off en route to a 49-17 win, improving to 6-0. Now, the Whitefaces get a week off to rest and recover, while the Tribe heads to start district in Fort Stockton. 5A Classification
