Mets fans believe 'playoff pumpkin' from local farm helped beat Brewers

A local farm may have accidentally played a small part in helping the Mets beat the Brewer's in last night's heartbreaker. Mets star Pete Alanso smashed the three-run homer in the 9th inning to help send the New York Mets to the NLDS. Alanso picked up what he calls a "playoff pumpkin," a good luck charm fans are rallying around this post season. The owner of Basse's says he is not surprised the pumpkin brought the Mets such good fortune.
