LSU women's basketball star Angel Reese joins Seimone Augustus, scoring 10-plus in 50 straight games

More history made for Angel Reese with LSU women's basketball.

Scoring her 10th point in the second quarter against Auburn Sunday afternoon, she tallied her 50th straight game scoring in double digits, hitting that mark in all 50 games of her Tigers career.

She is now second on the program's list in that category, only trailing LSU legend and Hall of Famer Seimone Augustus, who had 97 straight games with at least 10 points.

Reese is only in her second season in Baton Rouge but she's already made an indelible mark on Kim Mulkey's program. She helped the program win its first NCAA championship last season, knocking off Iowa 102-85, earning Most Outstanding Players honors, a first for LSU in its first national title game appearance.

Prior to accomplishing that last season, Reese surpassed another Tiger legend Sylvia Fowles in consecutive double doubles which stood at 20 in a row. She put up 23 consecutive games with at least 10 points and 10 rebounds during the 2022-23 season.

Reese also set the NCAA mark for double-doubles in a single season with 34.
