LSU women's basketball star Angel Reese wearing walking boot ahead of SEC title game

GREENVILLE, S.C. — LSU women's basketball star forward Angel Reese showed up to Bon Secours Wellness Arena ahead of the SEC Tournament championship game against South Carolina on Sunday wearing a walking boot.

Reese has been contending with an ankle injury the last couple of games. She reaggravated it against Auburn in the tournament quarterfinals Friday. But the LSU star played through it against Ole Miss in the semifinals Saturday.

She scored 21 points against Ole Miss and helped lead the Tigers to their first SEC Tournament championship game appearance since 2012.

Despite the walking boot, Reese will play versus South Carolina Sunday, team officials said.
