LSU women's basketball at Ole Miss: Live score, updates

LSU women's basketball got stellar performances from three of is biggest stars in its 92-72 win over Missouri to tip off SEC play Thursday night.

Aneesah Morrow poured in 25 points while sophomore sensation Flau'jae Johnson scored a season-high 24 and junior star Angel Reese put up 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Kim Mulkey hopes that offensive efficiency rolls over for the No. 7-ranked Tigers (14-1) who faces one of their stiffest tests this season in an Ole Miss team that boasts the league's third-best scoring defense, giving up just 52.4 points per game, 2 p.m. Sunday on ESPN.

The Rebels (11-3) stifled Alabama on the road Thursday night in the 55-45 victory, the Tide's lowest offensive output all season. Ole Miss senior forward Madison Scott and senior guard Marquesha Davis have powered the Rebs so far this season on both ends of the floor.

LSU has topped the SEC in the first two months of the regular season, averaging 94 points per game and currently its normal starting five are all averaging double figures in scoring, led by Reese at 19.7 points and 11.2 rebounds per game.
