LSU women's basketball games v. South Carolina, Tennessee get dates in 2023 SEC schedule
LSU women's basketball's full 2023-24 schedule has completely taken shape.
The last piece, as the Southeastern Conference unveiled Wednesday afternoon, was the order and dates of each of the Tigers' 18 conference games.
Interest in LSU is sky-high after Kim Mulkey, in her second season, guided her program to its first NCAA championship, knocking off star Caitlin Clark and Iowa women's basketball back in April. Star in her own right, Angel Reese along with Flau'jae Johnson helped lead the Tigers in their first seasons with the team last year.
After a nonconference slate headlined by a Final Four rematch against Virginia Tech as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge Nov. 30 inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center and the Nov. 6 season opener against Colorado in Las Vegas, the Tigers tip off SEC play at home versus Missouri Jan 4.
The marquee league showdown with Dawn Staley and South Carolina takes place Jan. 25 at the PMAC while LSU's toughest road contests are at Ole Miss early in conference play Jan. 7 and near the end of the regular season at Tennessee Feb. 25.
