LSU wins 1st national championship in program history, downing Iowa in NCAA tournament Final Four

A record-setting performance on both sides sent LSU to its first national championship in program history and gave coach Kim Mulkey titles with two programs (Baylor and LSU). Jasmine Carson scored 22 points to lead the Tigers and Angel Reese recorded yet another double-double to hold off Iowa 102-85 on Sunday at American Airlines Center in Dallas.
