After a blowout road loss to Tennessee in its midweek game, LSU basketball returns home on Saturday. The Tigers will face off against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

On Wednesday, LSU fell in Knoxville, Tennessee in a contest that was rarely close. The Tigers fell in a 13-0 hole early and trailed by as much as 26 in the second half. Although they cut the deficit to single digits at one point, the Volunteers pulled away one final time for the 88-68 win.

Alabama (16-7, 8-2) also most recently lost on the road, as rival Auburn pulled off a 99-81 win on Wednesday night.

These two teams met previously in Tuscaloosa, with the Crimson Tide defeating the Tigers, 109-88, on Jan. 27.
