Louisville women's basketball will need to keep a bag packed to start the season.

Seven of the team's 11 nonconference games will be on the road, including the season opener in France.

The road slate includes rival Kentucky on Nov. 16. The Cards also will play Nov. 30 at Colorado, only the third time the teams have played and the first since 2013.

The Cardinals' Dec. 15 ACC opener against N.C. State, part of the Jimmy V Classic, is sandwiched between nonconference games against Grambling State on Dec. 12 and Memphis, on the road, on Dec. 21.

Their conference schedule was released Tuesday night and includes a road trip to SMU, one of the league’s new additions. Louisville will play Stanford and California at home.

Part of the Cardinals' home schedule includes the second installment of the SEC/ACC Challenge. They'll host Oklahoma at 5 p.m. Dec. 4 with the contest to be broadcast on ESPN2.
