Florida State has landed another transfer addition.

This time, the Seminoles have supplemented their secondary depth with the addition of former Louisville defensive back Greedy Vance, who announced Tuesday that he will be transferring to FSU.

Vance was originally a three-star cornerback out of New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr High in the 2020 class. He's leaving the Louisville program after two seasons and picked the Seminoles six days after he entered the portal on Dec. 22.

He played in 17 games over his two seasons with the Cardinals. This season, he appeared in all 12 of Louisville's regular-season games, racking up seven pass breakups and 36 tackles (33 of which were solo).

While the secondary wasn't a huge area of need for the Seminoles in the transfer portal, Vance gives FSU another versatile option to use in the back of the defense. Like South Carolina defensive back transfer Jammie Robinson last year, Vance is capable of lining up in multiple spots and filling multiple roles.

He's the fifth transfer player FSU has added this offseason, but the first on defense.

He joins wide receivers Mycah Pittman (Oregon) and Johnny Wilson (Arizona State) and offensive linemen Kayden Lyles (Wisconsin) and Bless Harris (Lamar).
