The Nuggets swept the season series against the Lakers, 3-0, winning every game by at least eight points.

The Nuggets have home-court advantage in the series and host games 1, 2, 5 and 7 in the seven-game series, with the Lakers hosting games 3, 4 and 6.

There is a day off in between every scheduled game in this series, except for 2-day breaks between Game 2 and Game 3 and between Game 5 and Game 6.
