Look: Taylor Jenkins screams during timeout as Memphis Grizzlies trail Mavericks

Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins is not happy.

Jenkins appeared to be screaming and gesturing at his team during a timeout of their game against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. The game was close in the first quarter before the Mavericks went on a run to take a 16-point lead into the half.

Videos posted on social media showed an animated Jenkins yelling at his players during a second-quarter timeout. It mirrored a game from earlier this season when injured Grizzlies player Marcus Smart appeared to yell "it's embarrassing" during a timeout while they were losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Grizzlies eventually fell to the Mavericks, 120-113. In his postgame press conference, Jenkins was asked if he liked his team's response after the timeout.

"A little bit," he said.

What was his message to his team after the game?

“Keep working," he said. "Keep getting better.”

Memphis has struggled this season and is now 6-16 on the year, including 1-10 at home. A slew of players have missed time with injuries, and star guard Ja Morant has not played as he serves a 25-game suspension.
