College football live scores, updates: Texas at Vanderbilt, Missouri at Alabama and more

Week 9 features plenty of ranked-on-ranked action, but will we see any upsets?

With five games pitting AP Top 25 teams against each other, one would think we'd be in for a thrilling day of action.

But it was all chalk early on Saturday. No. 12 Notre Dame took advantage of six turnovers by No. 24 Navy in a 51-14 blowout. No. 4 Ohio State and No. 13 Indiana quelled any upset fears by holding on at home in Big Ten battles. And the afternoon favorites are all rolling.

If anything, Saturday seems like a showcase for personal achievements, with Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith becoming the first freshman in 19 years to catch a TD in each of his first seven games and Oregon's Dillon Gabriel moving into the No. 2 spot in all-time touchdown passes.

Here’s what we're keeping an eye on later tonight.

Time: 4:15 p.m. | TV: SEC Network | Line: Texas -18.5 | Total: 53.5

The newly ranked Commodores get the Longhorns at home three weeks after pulling off a huge upset over Alabama. Can Vandy shock the world again? A lot will depend on the play of dual-threat QB Diego Pavia, who faces a Texas team coming off an ugly loss to Georgia a week ago.

Time: 7:30 p.m. | TV: ABC | Line: Texas A&M -2.5 | Total: 53.5

These are the only teams without an SEC loss this season, so the winner will have an inside track to the conference title game. LSU's Garrett Nussmeier has been one of the most productive QBs in the nation so far, and he'll face an A&M defense that has defended the pass very well.

  • Halftime: Notre Dame 31, Navy 7

Navy didn't have a fumble all season coming into this game. It has three in the first half in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The Cornhuskers made it a one-score game as time expired in the first half with a long field goal by John Hohl.

  • Navy misses FG

Now it's the Midshipmen missing an easy field goal just before the halftime break. It's been a weird and undisciplined game so far for Navy.
