Some things just go well together. Dan Dickerson and the final out of Detroit Tigers playoff victories are a great example.

The Tigers just picked up their first home playoff victory since 2013, beating the Cleveland Guardians, 3-0, in Game 3 of the ALDS. One more win and they move on to the ALCS to play the New York Yankees or Kansas City Royals for a shot at the World Series.

Dickerson, the beloved radio play-by-play caller for the Detroit Tigers Radio Network, delivered another excellent call as Tyler Holton struck out Austin Hedges to close out a 1-2-3 ninth inning, much to the delight of the playoff-record crowd of 44,855 in attendance at Comerica Park.
