Lightning Have Interesting Target In Canadiens Forward
The Tampa Bay Lightning have hit a bit of a rough patch, losing each of their last three games. However, while this is the case, they still have a solid 7-6-0 record and are third in the Atlantic Division standings. Thus, they should get things back on track.

When looking at their current roster, it is fair to say that they could use a boost in their bottom six. Now that we are in November, trade chatter is slowly starting to pick up, so the Lightning could browse the market to help with this area.
One specific player who has been generating interest around the league is Montreal Canadiens forward Jake Evans. The Lightning should seriously consider entering the sweepstakes for him.
Evans, 28, would have the potential to be an excellent addition to the Lightning's bottom six. This is because he chips in offensively, plays a solid defensive game, and provides grit. He would also give the Lightning's penalty kill another option to work with.
Evans is off to a solid start this season, as he has two goals, six points, and 20 hits in 13 games. This was after he had seven goals and 28 points in 82 games this past season.
Evans is in the final season of his current deal, so the Canadiens could very well shop him as we get closer to the deadline. With the Lightning needing more forward depth, don't be surprised if they end up in the mix for his services.
