Lightning Coach Confirms Significant Lineup Change

The Tampa Bay Lightning started their season on the right foot against the Carolina Hurricanes, winning by a 4-1 final score. Now, they will look to build off it and secure two points against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday (Oct. 15).

For their matchup against the Hurricanes, the Lightning dressed 11 forwards and seven defensemen. In the end, it worked out for them, but according to head coach Jon Cooper, they are going back to a standard 12 forwards and six defenders against the Canucks.

At this juncture, the Lightning's official lineup for the contest has not been announced. However, we know that one of their defensemen from the season-opener will be scratched, while a new forward will enter the lineup.
