In a statement, the team announced it is aware of the “situation,” and was in the process of gathering more information.
The 24-year-old Fournette was reportedly arrested after failing to pay a speeding ticket from 2018, according to WJXT. His license was suspended last month.
Fournette reportedly told police he left his license at the stadium. That’s when the officer recognized Fournette from that previous stop.
When the officer requested Fournette's driving license - Fournette told the officer -- I left it at the stadium, I'm a Jaguar player.'' That reminded Lt. Mullen of his previous stop involving Fournette on July 23.

Fournette was charged with knowingly driving while his license was suspended. He was able to post bond and was released in under a half hour.
Last season, Fournette rushed for 439 yards and five touchdowns in eight games for the Jaguars.
