Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell clinch Round of 8 spots in NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs

Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell are moving on the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

Larson clinched a spot in the Round of 8 after the second stage of Sunday's Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Larson finished in the top 10 of both of the opening stages to clinch a spot in the next round. Larson, the 2021 Cup Series champion, has earned seven stage points in Sunday's race.

Bell clinched a spot just a few minutes after Larson did as the field was under caution during the final stage of the race.

Bell and Larson join William Byron as the first three drivers to clinch a spot in the Round of 8. Byron clinched a spot after last week's race at Talladega.

Larson leads the race over AJ Allmendinger in the final stage.
