Kyle Korver to take leave of absence following brother's death
Cleveland guard Kyle Korver is expected to miss more time this week.
Kyle’s brother, Kirk, died on Tuesday in Iowa after becoming seriously ill last week, the team announced. He was 27.

Kyle left the team on Friday to go home to Iowa to be with his brother, missing Cleveland’s win over the Chicago Bulls. He returned to the team on Monday, dropping 12 points in the Cavaliers’ win against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Kirk played basketball at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2009-14, where he scored 597 career points for the Kangaroos.

He was a first team all-district and all-conference selection while playing high school basketball in Pella, Iowa, and was named to the third-team all-state his senior year by the Des Moines Register.
